Madhappy, the Los Angeles-based streetwear label, announced a $1.5 million seed round of funding. The investment was led by LVMH’s Luxury Ventures accelerator program.
Other contributors include Tommy Hilfiger and the founders of Sweetgreen.
The 2-year old streetwear/loungewear brand that has found a core following amongst 18 to 30 year-olds thanks to its bold colors and uplifting messages. Co-founder Peiman Raf says that the brand is on a mission to make the world a more optimistic place by creating conversations around mental health.
Madhappy creates streetwear staples at a higher-end price point, including $160 hoodies, $140 sweatpants, and $70 T-shirts.
