Luxottica Group reported its adjusted sales in North America grew 29.3 percent to €1.43 billion in the second quarter ended June 30, an increase of 5.7 percent in currency-neutral terms.

The Italian company reported Wholesale revenue in North America, including sales of Oakley and Ray Ban branded eyewear, grew 21.4 percent to €293 million, up 5.5 percent in currency-neutral terms. Adjusted Retail sales, which include results from Sunglass Hut as well as the company's LensCrafter prescription eyewear business, were €1.13 billion, up 45 percent, or 2.8 percent  c-n.
