Lululemon has signed a lease to open its first men’s store in lower Manhattan. According to real estate site, therealdeal.com, leases have been signed for two stores on adjacent corners of Prince and Wooster Streets in Soho. A women’s store will open at 125 Prince Street and the men’s store will be located at 127 Prince Street.
The women’s store location currently features Camper, which is reportedly closing in October. The men’s location was previously occupied by Lucky Brand.
A Lululemon store in the area at 481 Broadway will be closing in order to focus on the new location, CEO Laurent Potdevin said on the company’s second-quarter conference call. He added, “This will provide unique experiences for both men and women in spaces that are designed uniquely for their needs.”
