Lululemon has inaugurated its first European airport retail location at London’s Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.
The 1,110-square-foot space will feature LULU’s range of leggings, yoga gear, “travel-friendly layers,” and accessories, and is expected to attract both fitness and fashion enthusiasts.
Heathrow retail director Fraser Brown stated: “We are thrilled to welcome Lululemon to Heathrow, their first airport store in Europe. As we strive to make every journey better, the launch of Lululemon in Terminal 5 will give passengers the opportunity to enjoy their travel experience with added comfort and style. Lululemon has amassed a cult following for good reason, and we are excited to welcome such an iconic activewear brand to Heathrow.”
Lululemon’s Heathrow store further strengthens its strategic expansion in the travel retail channel, complementing its existing airport stores, including one which opened at Vancouver International Airport in North America in 2021. It operates stores at Changi Airport Terminal 1 and Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 in Asia.
Earlier this year, Lululemon relocated its London Regent Street flagship store to a bigger space, making it the company’s largest store in the EMEA region.
