The founder of Lululemon Athletica, Chip Wilson, launched his new book, “40,000 Days And Then Youre Dead” on his meditation website whil.com. The book, which is available for free, tells the story of how Lululemon came to be as Wilson recounts his journey from his first yoga class to the establishment of Lululemon.

Chapters will be released on a weekly basis with expandable sections and video interviews. Contributors to the book include: Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson; Fiona Stang, Chip’s first yoga instructor; Baron Baptiste, founder of Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga; and Tom Stemberg, founder and former CEO of Staples.

Whil is a content portal, online community, and lifestyle brand for professionals seeking new ways to embrace the chaos of everyday life and set achievable goals for themselves. Through a 60-second meditation technique, whil encourages you to power down, power up and power forward. Lululemon’s book allows people to learn about his past and join him and his wife, Shannon Wilson, as they embark on this new adventure of whil.

“Whil is a brand about nothing. But in that nothingness exists infinite possibility,” says Wilson. “I hope that, through reading this book, youll see how committing to powering down, getting present and powering back up again will help turn dreams into reality.”
