Lowa added the YMCA of the Rockies Estes Park Center in Estes Park, CO as its newest Demo Center Program partner. The Center is surrounded on three sides by the Rocky Mountain National Park, which is recognized as one of the countrys top outdoor and adventure destinations.

Colorado and out-of-state visitors will have the opportunity to check out a pair of Lowas at no charge by visiting the Demo Center where several models will be available for a day of testing. This is Lowas fourth strategically located Demo Center including the Sierra Clubs Center out of the Clair Tappaan Lodge in Californias Sierra Nevada and Appalachian Mountain Clubs (AMC) at the Joe Dodge Lodge in New Hampshire and Mohican Outdoor Center in New Jersey. The Estes Park program will launch Memorial Day week-end and continue through Columbus Day.

The Demo Center allows potential Lowa consumers to try before they buy, commented Peter Sachs, general manager of Lowa in the U.S. Our goal is to help everyone realize the benefit and enjoyment of top quality footwear designed for specific terrain as opposed to everyday-casual or basketball-type shoes frequently seen on the trails. Based on the programs success in other areas, we know it works.

Demo Center employees are receiving training from Lowa so that they are prepared to help hikers choose from an assortment of mens and womens Tempest Los and Renegade GTX Mids, mens Camino GTX, womens Khumbu GTX Mid and Kody Jrs.
