Irwin's Bike & Sports Shop in Johnston, Iowa is having a closing sale and will liquidate every item in the store, according to a report by the Des Moines Register. Irwin's has been a fixture in the area since it was opened in 1950 by Wilbur Irwin.

The store was originally a sporting goods store but evolved into selling bicycles and hockey equipment. According to the Register, owner Jack Davis said he and his wife are retiring and the couple would be “taking a new direction in life.”
