Since Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast last week, Little Hotties has shipped over 10,000 pairs of hand warmers to relief organizations throughout New York and New Jersey for distribution to those who continue to be without power and heat, and to aid in the massive cleanup and relief efforts by hundreds of thousands of volunteers. Between the current cold spell in the Northeast and around the clock work by volunteers and residents to provide relief to those hit hardest by the hurricane, the hand warmers are a welcome source of warmth and comfort.

“We are grateful to Little Hotties for sending the hand warmers this week that will provide some relief to affected residents and help our volunteers continue the cleanup work on Staten Island during this unfortunate cold weather,” said Sandy cleanup crew organizer Joe Covello, Owner of Standard Burger on Statan Island and VP of the United Hoisting & Scaffolding Corp of NYC. “It's because of donations like these that so many people are able to help out and give the residents here a little hope that our community can and will be restored.”

Covello and his team will be distributing the Little Hotties warmers, along with other much needed donated supplies, this Saturday, November 10, at his restaurant the Standard Burger at 4115 Hylan Blvd. on Staten Island. Little Hotties has also donated hand warmers to Rockaway Relief in Rockaway, Queens and various churches and individuals throughout the affected areas. The company continues to respond to requests for assistance.
