The LifeIsGood.com database, which contained credit card numbers and other sensitive information, was illegally accessed by intruders last week. The company stated that it is unclear if any data was copied, but the database included names, addresses, and card numbers for about 9,250 customers.
Upon discovery of the breach, the company immediately disabled this unauthorized access and implemented additional security measures to prevent future violations. The breach was also reported to federal law enforcement authorities who are investigating the incident.
