Liberty Safe announced the appointment of Donny McKay as its new chief revenue officer, effective January 13, 2025. McKay brings extensive experience in sales, marketing, and product development, having recently served as senior vice president of sales and marketing at American Security Products.
With nearly 12 years at American Security, he was pivotal in launching new product lines, including the smart safe category, which now represents a significant portion of the company’s revenue.
“Donny’s expertise in revenue growth, strategic leadership and market intelligence will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen Liberty Safe’s position as the industry leader,” said CEO Dave Foley. “His track record of building high-performing teams and delivering results makes him the perfect fit for our next phase of growth.”
McKay’s deep knowledge of pricing strategy, customer relationship management, and business development will help Liberty Safe expand its product offerings and enhance customer value.
Liberty Safe is a U.S. manufacturer of gun safes, vault doors, home safes, and handgun vaults in its 300,000-square-foot facility. The company can manufacture “over 800 safes at peak capacity daily.” Liberty Safe employs nearly 400 skilled American workers in its Payson, UT facility, and supports hundreds of independent Liberty Safe dealers in the USA.
