Leupold & Stevens, Inc. named Tim Lesser its vice president, product development & marketing, effective immediately.
“Tim has spent the last eight years leading our engineering and product development teams, and he’s been a member of the shooting and outdoor industry even longer than that,” said Bruce Pettet, president and chief executive officer. “His drive, talent and commitment to the Leupold brand make him the perfect person to continue to elevate our product development and to take our consumer marketing efforts to the next level.”
Lesser was previously the optic company’s vice president for product development. His role now includes leadership of the product development team and the brand’s internal marketing team. Lucas Burt, Leupold’s senior manager, brand creative, will report to him directly.
In addition, Dustin Miller has been named the company’s director of NPI engineering. Miller joined the company in 2021 and has an extensive background in product design and development. He will oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) engineers.
“Dustin’s skillset in engineering and new product development is undeniable,” Pettet said. “We’re excited to have him leading the charge as we continue to design and build products that will outperform, out inspire and outlast the competition.”
Leupold’s product lines include rifle, handgun and spotting scopes, binoculars, rangefinders, mounting systems, optical tools, accessories, and pro gear.
