Legacy Sports International named Austin McCord, a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington, as Southeast sales director.
McCord began his career in firearms retail at 16, gaining early industry exposure. He joined Sellmark Corp. as an intern, spending nearly a decade refining his skills in various roles, including territory sales, sales training and business development. Most recently, McCord led the company’s Hunting & Shooting Sales division.
Sellmark Corp. said McCord’s extensive experience in firearms sales is a “great asset for all concerned.” He is based out of the Ft Worth, TX area and is “strategically positioned to further the expansion of the Howa, Pointer, Citadel, and Nikko Stirling brands.”
“We are excited to have Austin joining our team. He brings a great deal of experience with him that we are eager to insert into the continued growth of our strong brands,” said Andy McCormick, president of sales and marketing at Legacy Sports International.
