Leatherman Tool Group has opened the CareHere Health & Wellness Center, a new on-site facility that will provide access to primary and preventive healthcare to Leatherman Tool Group employees and their dependents covered by the company’s health plan.
This new CareHere Health & Wellness Center is the launch of a collaborative partnership by Leatherman Tool Group, and Tennessee-based industry pioneer and innovator in onsite healthcare, CareHere. It is another step the company is taking to offer its employees top-notch benefits and remain one of the healthiest employers in Oregon.
Leatherman Tool Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of high quality multi-tools and LED lights, has called Portland home since it was founded 35 years ago. Leatherman’s headquarters include a 110,000-square-foot building that encompass its corporate offices and product manufacturing facility which employs 500. The CareHere Health & Wellness Center will be located in the company’s main office in NE Portland. Employees at the company’s 60,000-square-foot distribution center, located two miles away, will also have access to the health clinic.
The CareHere Health & Wellness Center is a new and exciting benefit Leatherman is providing, and will offer primary care services with no co-payments, no deductibles, and no costs for on-site generic medications to Leatherman’s employees and their families.

CareHere will oversee and manage the operations of the facilities. Patients can schedule appointments online or over the phone. Appointments are never double-booked, so there is little or no wait time, enabling Leatherman employees to be served quickly and feeling better fast.

The Leatherman CareHere Health & Wellness Center is located at 12106 NE Ainsworth Circle, Suite 5, Portland, OR 97221. Mindy Harter and CEO Ben Rivera cut the ribbon with a pair of Leatherman Raptors on Wednesday, January 17 at 1:00 pm.
