Lands' End has opened its 100th shop in a Sears store. The Lands' End Shops are based on a store-within-a-store concept launched in September 2005, in White Plains, N.Y.

“The Lands' End brand has truly come to life at Sears. The revitalized presence leverages our core strengths to provide a top-notch shopping experience that is enhanced by our multi-channel offerings,” said David McCreight, President of Lands' End. “Now, customers can experience our products first hand in a beautiful shopping environment. They're able to touch, feel and see the style, quality and details in our product, while knowing they also can search our entire assortment from the convenience of a special shopping lounge via phone, catalog or landsend.com.”

In the spring of 2006, Lands' End opened 24 additional test shops in the Northeast. Based on positive customer feedback, Lands' End is opening 75 additional stores in areas that resonate well with Lands' End customers during an aggressive three-month time frame, ending the first week of November.

“Lands' End is now focused on making the shopping experience as easy and personalized as possible, regardless of where our customers shop — online, direct or in-store. Thanks to the great working relationship between Sears store managers and Lands' Ends employees, this has been a smooth process,” McCreight said.

Each shop offers approximately 10,000 square-feet filled with products for women, men and kids, representing a 50% increase in product assortment from previous Lands' End offerings at Sears. Select stores offer intimates, home and seasonal product, nearly doubling product assortment.
