Lâmo Sheepskin, Inc. reported it is undergoing a brand refresh for its Lâmo division, changing its name to Mykos. The company said the pivot “reflects its move to become a more extensive footwear destination, with a collection of sandals, boots, slippers, moccasins, and sneakers that symbolize an active lifestyle.”

“With the recent appointment of industry experts Kamaria Davis as footwear designer and Todd Bennett as creative director after 15 years at Bearpaw, the company reinforces its commitment to hiring the best in the industry,” said Lâmo.

“After nearly 30 years of experience and success as Lâmo, we are closing this chapter and starting anew with Mykos,” said COO Jerry Breig. “Comfort, quality and teamwork will remain at the forefront. With the addition of Kamaria and Todd to our design team, we are excited to unveil a fresh look for our footwear, logo, packaging, and more, set to officially launch with our wholesale partners in Spring/Summer 2025.”

Under the Mykos name, the company said a “broader footwear offering and innovative technologies will enhance choices for men, women and children.”
