Lamo Sheepskin, Inc. appointed Mark Etzbach as its new CEO to succeed Jerry Breig. Brieg will continue to serve Lamo as vice president of international business development.
“Lamo has very aggressive global growth expectations and it was critical for our company to make key transitions at the management level in order to achieve these objectives,” said Joseph Li, owner of Lamo Sheepskin, Inc. “Throughout his career, Mark has demonstrated the ability to grow both domestic and international markets while implementing best practices to support company growth. Jerry has an extensive background in international business development and will continue to play a very important role in our global expansion. I am confident that these changes will help elevate Lamo to the desired level and we’re excited to transition our company into this next phase.”
Etzbach held senior executive roles with Original Footwear Holding, Inc., Tactical Holdings, Inc. and Redflex Traffic Systems, Inc. prior to joining Lamo in late May 2016. Breig has been with Lamo since 2010 and CEO since 2011.
“I am honored with the opportunity to lead Lamo into this new chapter and thankful to Mr. Li for having the confidence in me to fulfill the vision of expanding the global footprint of our brands,” said Etzbach. “We have an amazing foundation from which to build from and I’m anxious to continue building upon the team’s prior success by creating a world class organization that is recognized as an industry leader by our customers, employees and business partners.”
