Lacrosse Unlimited re-opened its original flagship store at Hauppauge, NY with a brand new look in a brand new location.
An official grand re-Opening is scheduled for Sunday, March 31st. Lacrosse Unlimited, known as “LU” to its faithful, first opened its doors in November of 1990 in a 1,200 square foot location in Hauppauge and has grown to more than 40 locations in 12 states.
“We felt strongly that it was time to respond to the increased demand to provide a great customer experience and update our first store with a make-over it deserved. The store has served the Long Island lacrosse community for 28 years and we are excited to give our customers an even better experience in the years to come,” said Joe DeSimone the company’s founder.
The original store located in the Hauppauge shopping center has endured many tenant changes over the years and the company felt it was time to move the store to a more active shopping center with co-tenants more befitting its active lifestyle customers.
