L2 Brands, the manufacturer of custom apparel and headwear for the collegiate, destination, leisure, and corporate markets was acquired by Sentinel Capital Partners. The financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1991, L2 Brands include League and Legacy. “L2 has a three-decade reputation for offering leading brands, excellent customer service and high-quality products,” said Sentinel Partner John Van Sickle. “Sentinel is excited to partner with L2 and its talented management team for its next chapter of growth.”
League offers customize headwear and winter knits, with more than 150 styles for men and women. L2 is known for its decoration and customization capabilities with a fully-integrated production process. Its manufacturing facilities are located in Hanover, PA and El Salvador.

Sentinel has previously made investments in the consumer products and specialty apparel sector, including Careismatic Brands GSM Outdoors, Holley Performance Products, and RefrigiWear. BMO Capital Markets served as financial advisor to Sentinel.
