KT Tape Signs Rising Soccer Star Rose Lavelle

KT Tape, category leader in kinesiology taping products, announced the signing of soccer player Rose Lavelle as an athlete ambassador. Lavelle was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NWSL College Draft and made her debut on the U.S. Women’s National Team in March 2017. A winner of multiple NCAA, NSCAA and conference competitive honors, she scored two goals over the course of her first seven appearances with the USWNT. Lavelle also played with the U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team, during which time she was named MVP of the 2014 CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship.

“Rose brings a spark to the game with her highly technical play, and she will be someone to watch for years to come,” said Greg Venner, chief executive officer of KT Tape. “The U.S. Women’s National Team is a perennial powerhouse and we look forward to her contributions on the road to the Women’s World Cup in 2019 and the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Lavelle joins the KT Tape team through 2020, and she has a goal of competing in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. She began her full-time professional career in 2017 after a strong collegiate showing at the University of Wisconsin. While at Wisconsin, she was a three-time All-American and a four-time first-team All-Big Ten selection. In her first year as a pro, she became the first rookie to win NWSL Player of the Month in her first month in the league.
