The Board of Directors of Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA), and Chief Executive Officer William B. (Bill) Pace announce the appointment of Jerry T. Black to the position of Managing Director, Consumer Products Division, North America.

Mr. Black has held a series of senior positions at KSA. He currently leads the Firm's Value Chain Execution practice, which specializes in the delivery of supply chain, operations, and logistics consulting services.

Previously, he served as Managing Director of Global Practice Development, where he coordinated teams across KSA's North American, European, and Asia- Pacific regions to ensure the most effective balance of services and skills for client assignment. In that role, Mr. Black also directed the development of KSA's Business Outcomes initiative and began a North American rollout of tailored acceleration programs, which enable clients to measure and benchmark their progress to achieve accelerated results.

Mr. Black began his career at KSA in 1995 in Japan, where he built KSA's Asia-Pacific practice. As Managing Director of KSA's Asia-Pacific group, Mr. Black assisted Japan's leading retailer, Aeon, in the areas of merchandising, retail management, and logistics.

Regarding Mr. Black's appointment, Mr. Pace said, “Jerry Black has been highly effective working in every area of the Firm to unify and develop global practices and capabilities. His move to Managing Director, North America is a natural extension of the roles he has had and the impact he has created throughout KSA.”

Mr. Black and his wife, Sayuri, and sons Nicholas and Alexander, reside in Atlanta.
