Soren Krebs has moved to Veltec Sports following the company's acquisition of the exclusive Colnago distributorship for North America. At Veltec, Krebs will assume all responsibility for sales, retail strategy, and retailer programs, reporting to Managing Director Josh Greenburg. Veltec announced the move earlier this week in a letter to its retailers.

“I am delighted to announce Soren's appointment as National Sales Manager,” said Greenberg in the retailer letter, which was sent Monday. “In addition to knowing the Colnago brand as well as anyone, Soren has earned the respect of dealer communities on both sides of the Atlantic, building successful retailer networks in North America and in Europe.”

“I am pleased to be invited to join the Veltec team,” Krebs noted. “Its reputation for quality brands, tactical execution, and customer service are second to none and I am proud to be able to help these great brands grow.”

A native of Denmark, Krebs holds credentials in athletics as well as in business, racing semiprofessionally on the roads of Europe alongside such notables as Tour de France Winner and current Team CSC manager Bjarne Riis. He has also completed marathons and Ironman-distance triathlons. Krebs, who speaks fluent American English and Italian as well as native Danish and “passable” German, had worked in sales management for former Colnago distributor Trialtir since 2004, as well as in related positions in the outdoor industry in Europe.
