Kohl’s May Same-Store Sales Eke Out a 0.1% Gain

Kohl’s Corporation reported that sales for the four week period ended May 31, 2003 increased 13.9% over the four week period ended June 1, 2002. On a comparable store basis, sales increased 0.1%.

For the 17 weeks ended May 31, 2003, total sales were up 13.4% over the 17 weeks ended June 1, 2002. On a comparable store basis, sales for the 17-week period decreased 1.8%.
