Kjus USA has hired Jeff Thorpe as the Canadian Sales Representative. To date, Kjus USA had handled Canadian dealers directly. Thorpe will be responsible for servicing all current Canadian Kjus dealers and expanding Kjus Skiwears presence throughout the country.
“We see a great opportunity for Kjus in Canada,” said Kurt Widen, COO of Kjus USA. “Weve been squarely focused on developing our core business in the U.S., and now with Jeff on board we can give the Canadian market the attention required to further build the brand there.”
Thorpe joins Kjus USA from Couloir where he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to Couloir, Thorpe spent seven years with Descente North America, where in 2003 he left as Manager of Sales and Marketing to join Sleeman Breweries as the sales representative for the Whistler and North Shore territory.
“I am really excited to join the KJUS team for this next phase of development into the North American market,” said Thorpe. “My background and understanding of the Canadian Ski Industry will be an asset as we grow the KJUS brand in Canada.”
Thorpe will be based in Vancouver, BC
