KemperSports, the golf, sports, entertainment, and hospitality company, hired golf and sports marketing industry veteran Jim Boedecker as senior vice president of Golf Strategy and Growth.
In his new role, Boedecker is responsible for “leveraging KemperSports’ growing portfolio of golf and sports properties and assets to create new revenue streams.” He will also “develop new lines of business for KemperSports in and around golf, sports and hospitality.”
Boedecker joined KemperSports after over twenty years in golf and sports marketing, including holding leadership roles at Outlyr, IMG Worldwide and Intersport. During his career, Boedecker has developed “impactful marketing programs” for Cadillac and JP Morgan Chase. He also handled sales and marketing for over 100 PGA Tour, LPGA, European Tour, and Champions Tour players. In addition to golf and sports, Boedecker has “significant experience with lifestyle programs including film and culinary.”
“Over the last two decades, Jim has positioned himself as a leader in the golf and marketing space,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “His passion for golf and his ability to connect brands and organizations that drive business goals will be a tremendous asset to the KemperSports family.”
Boedecker played college golf at Marquette University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in business.
