Kelty hired On the Road and Off (ORO), a Southeast sales and marketing group, to grow sales for the brand’s camping, backpacking and lifestyle gear in the Southeast U.S.

“With its vast range of incredible outdoor opportunities and booming interest in outdoor recreation, the Southeast is a big focus for future growth for the Kelty brand. We see a ton of potential to expand our presence there and know that Kelty products will continue to shine as we bring them to more outdoor enthusiasts in the area,” said Kevin Karch, vice president of specialty sales at Kelty. “ORO is the perfect partner to help us achieve this goal, offering a huge wealth of knowledge and experience and exceptional relationships with key retailers and the local communities.”

With a team of five reps, led by founder TJ Maurer, the ORO sales group works collectively with specialty outdoor retailers and local non-profits in the Southeast, from Florida to West Virginia, to “connect the outdoor industry with the Southeastern outdoor community.” Founded in 2015, ORO also represents Teva, Black Diamond, Peak Design, Livsn, VSSL, and Roark.
