KEEN Footwear announced late Friday the promotion of Jim Van Dine to president of the company, effective immediately. Van Dine, who has served as VP/GM of the company for the last six months, will report to Angel Martinez, vice-chairman and CEO. The two have made a strong team for two decades, after Van Dine joined Martinez at his running shop in Alemeda, Calif. in the early 1980’s. They first worked together at Runner’s World in the late 70’s.

Van Dine will oversee all activities relating to the day-to-day operations of the company and will continue to lead the management team.
