Keds will start selling in Gap stores later this year. Gap already carries Converse basketball sneakers and it isnt known whether the relationship will continue, according to Dow Jones.

The Keds line will be sold at Gap stores, but not at its Old Navy and Banana Republic locations.

“It is a teaming of an iconic brand and an iconic retailer,” Matthew Rubel, chairman and chief executive of Collective Brands Inc. (PSS), told Dow Jones Newswires.

The collection will be designed to align with Gap’s fall offerings and will come in pastels, washed-out canvas and some print designs. For women, the new designs will be on the Keds classic tennis sneaker. For men, Keds will go with its vintage “Anchor,” or boat sneaker.
