KAVU, manufacturer of outdoor wear, promoted from within to fill a sales void in its home territory while also filling the newly created position of bag designer.
Stepping into the Northwest sales role is Kathryn Strasle, who has been with KAVU for three years, most recently at KAVU’s flagship store in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, WA.
“I’m grateful for this opportunity to move into the Northwest sales role and invest in the territory where KAVU is so deeply rooted,” said Strasle.
Dee Bayley, filling KAVU’s newly created bag designer position, brings a design background forged at brands including Honeywell and Target.
“From the small, agile team environment to the KAVU approach to making awesome products, there’s a lot to love about KAVU,” said Bayley. “But what stands out for me is the attitude around the office. Everyone is empowered to bring their best each day. It’s magical to be part of the team and to be appreciated for what I can do, too!”
Bag design at KAVU had previously been a shared responsibility of the design team. The addition of Bayley as the dedicated bag designer supports the brand’s growth strategy.
