KangaROOS has named Amie Turrill Owens to the position of vice president of brand management. At KangaROOS, Owens will be responsible for leading brand strategy and setting product direction.
Owens has extensive footwear experience having served in product marketing and sales positions at The Rockport Company, US Shoe and Nine West. Prior to joining KangaROOS, Owens served as vice president-planning director for Arnold Worldwide, a leading agency based in Boston where she worked on accounts such as The Hartford Financial Services, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Legacy and Talbots Mens.

At Arnold Worldwide, Owens uncovered meaningful and relevant consumer trends and helped her clients apply those findings to growing their business. She was also responsible for providing creative and account teams with an in-depth understanding of their target audience, their relationship to the brand and to the category in general.
Owens has also worked with brands to help them identify strategic business opportunities and used innovative research methodologies to provide key insights to effectively position and foster the relationship between brands and their target audience.
