Kane Footwear, the designer and manufacturer of active recovery footwear, announced that it hired Mark Tarnuzzer as chief marketing officer.
Before Kane Footwear, Tarnuzzer was the SVP of global marketing and media at Universal Music Group, where he “established in-house global marketing, data and media operations to serve the global artist roster and commercialize revenue-generating products in the marketplace,” said Kane Footwear in a media release. Prior to that, Tarnuzzer was the global head of programmatic at Samsung and Global Programmatic lead at Apple, overseeing automation initiatives and development of the business’ programmatic efforts.
At Kane Footwear, Tarnuzzer will be key in shaping the brand’s strategy, marketing activations, partnerships, and optimizing e-commerce performance.
“With years of experience under his belt across multiple categories, Mark will be an essential addition to the Kane team as we continue growing the business,” said John Gagliardi, founder and CEO of Kane Footwear. “He will bring a fresh perspective to the company in its next stage of rapid growth as more competition enters the market—helping introduce Kane to new audiences while evolving to the brand’s ethos of sustainable recovery footwear for all.”
“Since its launch in 2021, Kane has been a leader in the footwear space, and I am eager to expedite its growth and further solidify its position as the go-to recovery shoe,“ said Tarnuzzer. “The category has enormous potential, and Kane is well-positioned to continue leading the charge.”
