Kamik, a division of Genfoot Inc., expanded its product development team and marketing department to support the growth of the company in 2014 and beyond.  The new additions are part of a broader expansion effort as Kamik looks to build out its footprint worldwide. 

 A senior designer, product developer, and two product managers kick off the expansion of the product development department, creating a well-rounded team that will work closely to ensure seamless execution of all facets of the product development process.  In addition, the marketing department is growing to support the increase of new business initiatives.  The new hires include:

•    Louis-Martin Tremblay, Senior Designer – coming from a position of footwear head designer at ALDO Group, Tremblay will create and execute innovative product and design solutions for Kamik’s upcoming footwear collections
•    Charles Moffatt, Product Developer – brings seven years of shoe design and development experience at Sugi Canada Inc. to his new position at  Kamik where he will guide industrial strategy, ensuring timely production completion and conducting manufacturing partners evaluation analysis
•    Annie St-Denis, Product Manager – previously a product line developer with over seven years of experience at Wolverine  Worldwide, St-Denis will analyze brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develop marketing strategies for Kamik based on research and analysis
•    Davide Degano, Product Manager – previously an account manager and product developer at ALDO Group, Degano will work closely with Kamik product developers and designers to manage, develop, and implement marketing activities to maximize Kamik’s impact on the marketplace
•    Caroline Piché, Communications Marketing Manager – previously account director at ZIP Communication, Piché will create, implement and oversee company-wide communications strategies surrounding new product launches and business initiatives

The new team members join Kamik in time for the introduction of the company’s 2015 collection, including patterned rain boots and three-season neoprene boots being previewed at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market on August 6 – 9 in Salt Lake City, Utah (booth #30027E).
