K-Swiss announced the launch of a limited-edition DREAMer pack in support of United We Dream, the largest immigrant youth-led organization in the nation that organizes and advocates at the local and national levels for the dignity and justice of immigrants and communities of color in the U.S.

The custom pack will serve to bring awareness and funding to the protections of DREAMers during Hispanic Heritage Month which runs through October 15.

“To mark Hispanic Heritage Month, we wanted to create something that had real meaning to our Hispanic customers and our community, not just another product gimmick,” said K-Swiss President Barney Waters. “While DREAMers come from across the world, more than 90 percent affected are of hispanic heritage. The effort to find a permanent solution for DREAMers is extremely important to the Hispanic community and a cause close to our hearts; we wanted to create a meaningful program that could support much needed funds and promote conversation around the challenges DREAMers are facing as well as the important work United We Dream will execute over the weeks and months ahead.”

Half of proceeds generated by K-Swiss from the Dreamer pack will be donated to United We Dream to fund renewal fees for DACA recipients.

Consisting of custom editions of the Classic VN and ST529, the pack features Dreamer-themed accents on the shoes. Each design is composed of premium white leather with translucent rubber outsoles and offer the proven comfort and style of the fan-favorite silhouettes.

“The bold ‘DREAMER’ letters on the upper of the ST529 were applied to read in the direction of the wearer as a metaphor to take a stand in support of Dreamers,” said K-Swiss Senior Designer Hommy Diaz.  “The Classic VN features the phrase ‘We Are All Dreamers’ within the translucent outsole, which also aligns with K-Swiss’ brand mission to inspire young entrepreneurs.”

The Dreamer pack will be available in limited quantities exclusively on kswiss.com.
