Indigo Equipment has added John Juraschek as its new southeastern U.S. sales representative. Juraschek will cover North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida for the rapidly growing Indigo brand. He brings 15 years of for-profit and nonprofit outdoor industry experience to his new post, including previous jobs as National Sales Manager of Sterling Rope and Executive Director of both the Colorado Mountain Club and the Access Fund.
During his nearly five years at Sterling, Juraschek traveled extensively in the southeastern U.S., forging strong relationships with the buyers at specialty stores throughout the region.
“Managing a force of 12 independent reps at Sterling and doubling the companys sales over two-and-a-half years shows us that John has what it takes to move Indigo forward in this key territory,” said Indigo President Steve Kropf.
Juraschek joins three other recent additions to the Indigo sales rep team. In April, Indigo hired Steve Srednick and Bobbi Bensman to represent Indigo in the Rockies, and Bill Gange to represent the company in the Midwest. Srednick and Bensman, well-known throughout the Rockies territory for their clinic-oriented approach, bring 15 years of outdoor industry sales rep experience to their role with Indigo. In the Midwest, Gange and brings an insiders perspective on outdoor buyers needs. He has worked as a buyer and manager at Inland Coast Traders-The North Face Store in Duluth, Minn., a buyer at The Duluth Pack Store, and customer and dealer service manager for Granite Gear.
