Johnston & Murphy hired Connie Cartmill, most recently at Janie & Jack, as vice president of stores and Steve Prince, formerly at New Balance, as vice president of business operations.
While at Janie & Jack, a premium kid’s brand based in San Francisco, CA, Cartmill led stores and operations. Before that, she held senior roles at Lucky Brand Jeans. Her expertise includes omnichannel retail operations, real estate, analytics, strategic planning, merchandising, and P&L management. Cartmill will lead retail operations and customer service, handling Johnston & Murphy’s 159 stores and customer service operations.
Before working for 11 years at New Balance as senior director of North American business operations, Prince held senior positions at Rockport and consulted for Hanes Brands. At Johnston & Murphy, he will lead distribution channels to scale infrastructure, enhance business processes, improve customer fulfillment, and drive distribution and technology initiatives.
“We are thrilled to have Connie and Steve join the J&M team,” said Danny Ewoldsen, president of Johnston & Murphy. “I look forward to working with them both as we continue to reposition and reimagine our business and build on Johnston & Murphy’s strategic momentum and continued success.”
