Johnson Outdoors Inc. announced a worldwide search is underway for a new head for the company's Global Diving business, which manufactures and markets diving equipment and instruments under the Scubapro(R) and UWATEC(R) brand names. Headquartered in Antibes, France, the Global Diving business has operations in 15 countries and 358 employees around the world. Russell Reynolds Associates, a leading executive search firm, has been retained to assist the company in its search. The search was announced following the departure of Mr. Mamdouh Ashour from the company.

“We are very pleased that our COO, Jerry Perkins, will lead the Global Diving business during this transition period,” said Helen Johnson-Leipold, Chairman and CEO of Johnson Outdoors. “Jerry will be working with a deep and experienced management team that we expect will deliver solid returns from our Global Diving business.”
