Johnson Outdoors has appointed Joseph B. Stella to head its $78 million global diving business. As Group Vice President – Global Diving, Stella will be responsible for development and growth of the Company's well-known Scubapro and Uwatec brands worldwide, and overseeing the business unit's operations in 15 countries.

Since 1999, Stella has headed the U.S. diving business for Johnson Outdoors, and brings 25 years of General Management, Marketing and Sales experience to his new position. He began his career as a commercial diving contractor directing dive team operations for various underwater construction and inspection projects around the world. Among his many accomplishments, Stella holds two dive equipment patents and has acted as a technical advisor to various television and movie productions.
