The Coleman Company, Inc. has named a veteran consumer goods executive from its parent company Jarden Corp. as SVP of Sales for the Americas for its Coleman and Stearns brands.

Scott Henrikson will report to Interim President and CEO, Sam A. Solomon.

In his new position, Henrikson will direct the newly reorganized Sales team, which brings all Sales functions under his leadership. He is responsible for sales and distribution of new and existing Coleman®/Stearns® products across all channels.

Henrikson is a 20-year veteran of the consumer products industry and a seasoned Jarden Corporation sales executive who comes to Coleman with an outstanding track record of building sales teams and delivering exceptional results.

Most recently, he was VP of sales and marketing for food storage for the Appliance Division of Jarden Consumer Solutions (JCS). As SVP of sales for Jarden’s Tilia FoodSaver business, he led rapid retail sales growth and exceeded the company’s EBITDA targets.

His career also includes positions of increasing responsibility at International Corporation, Newell Corporation, Corning Inc. and General Mills.

“Scott brings to Coleman great experience across a variety of retail channels, outstanding leadership skills and an intensely competitive spirit,” Solomon said. “His contributions will benefit our customers by
distilling our vast array of products and ensuring we have the right products in the right place to maximize value to customers; and by bringing the needs of our customers back to Coleman to fuel our product development engine.”

Henrikson will serve on the Coleman Senior Management Team in Wichita, and through direct reports will guide national accounts, field accounts, special markets, Stearns and sales operations. He is
responsible for new product and program introductions, sales channel analysis, sales plans and forecasts and strategic partner relationships.
