ispo is getting reinforcements for the upcoming ispo summer 06. Jose Moreno-Tapia is the Community Manager responsibility for the area of Running, Fitness, Team Sports and Triathlon The 27-year-old Spanish national from Gran Canaria studied sports at the University of Las Palmas. After graduating as a sports scholar and teacher, he completed graduate studies in the fields of health and fitness at the Bayreuth University.
Following additional studies in England and Germany, Mr. Tapia worked initially in the marketing, sales and event management areas at the neoprene suit manufacturer Xterrawetsuits and the sports event organizer Toptime Canarias before he completed an internship at ispo in September 2005. Within outdoor_ispo, he was alone responsible for the “Greenhouse” project promoting the next generation, among other things, and worked closely with Tobias Gröber, who succeeded Peter Knoll as ispo Exhibition Group Director in January.
The enthusiastic fitness trainer continues to live for sports. His favorite sports especially include marathon and triathlon. Placing 19th in the Cala Millor Triathlon, he qualified to participate in the Spanish national championships in 2003. He ran successfully in the Mannheim Marathon in 2005 and completed the Ironman distance in the Quelle Challenge in Roth.
With a separate Community Manager for Running, Fitness, Team Sports and Triathlon, ispo is again improving its trade competence and individual support within its special communities and will present a Triathlon Village for the first time next July at ispo summer 06.
