The Ironman Group has added Yanni Andreopoulos, formerly at ABB FIA Formula E, as executive vice president of global partnerships, overseeing all aspects of the business, including sales, business intelligence, partnership management and activations, and content distribution.

At ABB FIA Formula E, Andreopoulos oversaw its commercial division (sponsorship, partnerships, ticketing, hospitality and licensing). In his previous role at AEG, he managed NBA, NHL, ATP, UFC, and Euroleague basketball events at AEG venues in Europe and the Amgen Tour of California.

Andreopoulos was a partner at Icarus Sports, growing and developing the production and distribution agency. He co-founded the FIM E-Xplorer and E1 World Electric Raceboat Series, for which he secured funding, recruited management teams, negotiated funding partnerships, and hosted venue agreements.
