Interbike’s OutDoor Demo starts today in Boulder City Nevada’s Boot Leg Canyon with 61,200 square feet of outdoor exhibit space filled with more than 130 bicycle and accessory manufacturers, the largest ever in Interbike’s 25-year history.

Bootleg Canyon, home to one of the International Mountain Bicycle Association’s (IMBA) “Epic Rides,” features great trails and open roads to test mountain, road, BMX, dirt jump, downhill and recumbent bikes and accessories. Retailers from all over North America, and several international retailers, will get a chance to test bikes and accessories from such brands as Bell Sports, Giant, Kona, Scott, and Trek/Gary Fisher Bicycles, to name just a few.

Interbike, a division of VNU Expositions, reports pre-registration numbers of 15,346 retail employees and buyers, a 2% increase over last year, representing more than 3,400 stores.

“We are celebrating our 25th year of producing the Interbike tradeshow,” said Lance Camisasca Interbike’s group show director. “OutDoor Demo has been around for ten of those years, and has grown into a great event to allow buyers to test new products and give manufacturers product feedback. It’s also a great way to launch the indoor potion of our show.”

The OutDoor Demo runs Monday and Tuesday, September 25-26 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day. The indoor portion of the show, the International Bicycle Expo, runs Wednesday through Friday, September 27-29 at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
