InterBike Appoints New EU Sales Rep

In an effort to further enhance its international reach and customer service, Interbike is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Uwe Weissflog and his agency, called inMotion mar.com, as its new European sales representative.

Weissflog, who is based in Ludwigsburg near Stuttgart, Germany, will be responsible for recruiting fresh brands to participate at the Interbike Expo while also working closely with Interbike's International Account Manager, Adam O'Brien, in serving existing key accounts in Europe.

“We are excited to have Uwe on our team,” said Lance Camisasca, Interbike Show Director. “His insight and experience in the global bicycle market will be a valuable addition for European manufacturers looking to grow their brands worldwide,” Camisasca added.

Weissflog, who has an extensive background in the bicycle industry, has previously worked with Shimano and SRAM and currently for numerous international brands including CamelBak, Sigma, Velo and Dahon.

³The US consumer market is the largest in the world and offers great sales potential for international companies,” said Weissflog. “Presented with the opportunity, I am very honored with the decision of Interbike to appoint my agency as their European sales representative. I believe our industry experience will help Interbike to achieve a new level of service abroad,” he added.

Weissflog and inMotion join Interbike's other international agencies; Wheel Giant and CETRA of Taiwan, CLETC of China and the Italian Trade Commission, in helping international manufacturers conduct business with Interbike.

“Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for our international customers to do business with Interbike,” said Camisasca. “With the assistance of our regional agencies, we continue to offer effective business opportunities for our international customers,” Camisasca said.
