The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) announced plans to hold the IHRSA Innovation Summit, a one-day interactive, virtual event on Thursday, September 17.
IHRSA wrote in a statement: “Watch inspiring, world-class keynote presentations, participate in timely and engaging education sessions and interact with industry peers through online chat—all from the comfort of your home or office.”
Two keynote speakers will headline the event: Author and Paralympian Josh Sundquist and Futurist, Technology Strategist, and Author Crystal Washington.
The theme of innovation will be threaded throughout the day’s education sessions and panel discussions presented by an international group of speakers.
Other topics include finance, member retention and leadership. Panel discussions, including suppliers, will explore how leaders of businesses around the globe have responded to the economic crisis.
IHRSA’s IGNITE! Event will be reimagined online. In the fast-paced, 60-minute event, guest speakers have five minutes to convey a concept they are passionate about, themed around innovation. Before the event begins, attendees will be able to log onto the event platform to begin networking with industry peers through an online chat. During the event, the interaction will continue with the added bonus of live participation and Q&A opportunities with speakers.
