IHRSA, which advocates for the Health and Fitness Industry, hired Charles Regnante as government affairs manager.
Regnante joined the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) with experience in state politics, advocacy, technology, and fundraising. Most recently, he was chief of staff to State Senator Karen Lewis Young (D-MD), where he managed legislation, external affairs and constituent services for the office.
Before joining the state senate office, Regnante worked as an associate account executive at FiscalNote, working with trade associations to “elevate advocacy efforts through government and advocacy software.” Regnante began his career as a fundraising and advocacy assistant at the Italian-American Democratic Leadership Council.
“Charles brings a wealth of state policy, legislative tracking and PAC fundraising experience to our team,” said IHRSA Vice President of Government Affairs Mike Goscinski. “His addition continues our steadfast commitment to transform IHRSA into an advocacy powerhouse and make sure that the health and fitness Industry has a strong voice in Washington, D.C., and throughout state capitals.”
