Icebreaker will open its new store in Seattle on Nov. 15, 2012. The 1,500-square-foot “TouchLab” will be located in downtown Seattle at 5th Avenue and Pike Street, blocks from the iconic Pike Place Market.

“Seattleites love the outdoors and have a great appreciation for nature and natural products, so this area is the perfect location for our newest TouchLab,” said Jeremy Moon, Icebreaker’s founder and CEO. “Their active lifestyle and early adopter culture makes them our ideal customer, and they will especially appreciate merino wool’s “warm when wet” properties.”

Icebreaker has eight other North American TouchLabs: Portland, OR (home of its US headquarters); New York City (SoHo and the Meatpacking District), California (San Francisco and San Jose), Montréal and Vancouver, B.C. (Kitsilano and North Shore). A ninth store, located in Vail, CO, will open its doors in November 2012, while a tenth store in Washington, DC, is scheduled for March 2013.
