Icebreaker, a VF Corp. brand, this week announced that Cameron Walker has been named general manager, Icebreaker North America.
Walker joined VF in the strategy and growth platforms team three years ago and was most recently the VP of new models and partnerships.
With his team, he has been focused on developing new purpose-led, user-centric models like The North Face Renewed. Walker also managed digital marketplaces centrally such as Amazon and with his team developed partnerships within innovation.
Prior to that, he worked with digital and direct-to-consumer strategy, working on digital transformation and helping to set global strategies for digital titans and direct-to-consumer.
Previous to VF, Walker spent time at Google, Twitter, Disney/Pixar and Oliver Wyman in varied business, partnership, strategy and finance positions.
Walker will help to relocate the Icebreaker North America business to Denver, build the team in Denver, relaunch the brand in North America, reprioritizing with direct-to-consumer, and leading a step toward change in the brand’s growth.
