The International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) has appointed Patrick Hald to lead the association's president of business development. Hald joins ICAA from FreeMotion Fitness, where he held the position of president and chief operating officer.
In his role as president, Hald is responsible for the ICAA 100 membership, preferred vendors programme, sponsorships, advertising and future business development.
At FreeMotion Fitness, Hald oversaw marketing, sales and education while leading the organization's strategic development.
“I am excited to join the ICAA in their mission to unite the efforts of the organizations focused on older adults to benefit both the people they serve and the organizations themselves,” said Hald.
Following the appointment, ICAA's chief executive and founder, Colin Milner, will focus his energies on the ICAA 2020 initiative to create a vision for the active-aging industry.
As part of that role, Milner will continue to join government and private panels developing the needs and action plans for the global population of aging adults and blend the global issues of aging with ICAA's industry initiatives, work groups and meetings.
