Ibex Outdoor Clothing, manufacturer of premium technical Merino wool apparel and accessories, hired Daniel Betts as vice president of finance and operations, effective immediately.
Betts comes to Ibex from SmartWool where he most recently served as the director of financial planning and analysis. Betts brings extensive experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, accounting management, and treasury to his new role. Prior to SmartWool, Betts worked as the principal financial analyst at The Timberland Company.

Betts has just moved to White River Junction, VT from Steamboat Springs, Colo. with his wife and their Wirehaired Pointing Griffon dog, Bergen, who is eager to join the dogs of Ibex.
