Ibex Outdoor Clothing has appointed new sales representation for the Midwest and Great Lakes territories. Troy Kattreh and Pam Schwarzbach of The Ascentials will be covering the Midwest region, while Tom Lawrence will be repping the East side of the Great Lakes.

Headquartered in Madison, WI, The Ascentials is an independent rep team with two decades of outdoor industry experience. Their territory covers the states of Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Nebraska and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The group’s primary focus is specialty outdoor retail, however, they also work with nordic and alpine stores, bike shops, eco and fashion boutiques as well as small specialty gift/tourist stores. The Ascentials also represents Implus, Toad & Co. and Nau.

“We are excited to be a part of the Ibex team as the brand has a great reputation for making the finest wool apparel in the outdoor industry,” said Troy Kattreh. “Ibex has earned a tremendous amount of respect by its retail partners for being a company that is easy to work with and one that values the relationships they have fostered with their partners, all of which is on par with the high quality product that Ibex designs.”

Based in Grosse Pointe, MI, independent rep Tom Lawrence will be covering the Great Lakes territory for Ibex, which includes the states of Michigan (Lower Peninsula), Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. A former Ibex rep in the Pacific Northwest from 2004-2012, Lawrence returned to his home state in Michigan in 2012 and set up his own independent rep agency.

“As a cyclist and outdoor enthusiast, I understand the merits and benefits of Merino wool. I have been wearing Ibex since 2002 and it was an easy decision for me to want to work with the brand and people again,” explained Lawrence. Lawrence also reps Toad & Co, Tubbs Snowshoe Co, Exped LLC and K2 Skate.

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in White River Junction, VT, Ibex
designs year-round Merino wool outdoor clothing for a range of outdoor
and active pursuits and passions. Men’s and Women’s items are divided
into Ride, Base, Peak, Live and ETC categories. The company distributes
online, via a catalog and through outdoor specialty stores.

“We welcome Troy, Pam and Tom as the newest members of our sales team,” said Ted Manning, CEO, Ibex Outdoor Clothing. “With years of outdoor industry experience and their expertise in selling technical and outdoor lifestyle apparel, these new reps are exceptionally qualified to sell Ibex in these important territories.”
