Hummer Global Footwear has named Dave Dobbels to the position of sales manager where he will oversee US sales for the Hummer Global Footwear Brand. Prior to joining Hummer Global Footwear, Dobbels spent the past 16 years at Saucony, Inc. For the past seven years Dobbels served as Corporate Accounts Manager at Saucony.

At Hummer, Dobbels will be assembling a national sales rep force and manage key account sales as the brand expands into majors and key independents.

“We’re thrilled to have someone with Dave’s experience join our growing team,” said Jordan Saliman, president of Hummer Global Footwear. “Dave will be instrumental in helping to build a foundation to support the strong interests we’ve been receiving in the new Hummer Global Footwear brand which was launched at WSA last February,” said Saliman.

Dobbels experience at Saucony ranges from working with small to medium sized accounts to managing large national key accounts, something that will be instrumental in managing the growth of the Hummer footwear brand and its rep force.

Dobbels noted his first order of business is assembling a national rep force as well as hitting the road to open new key accounts for Hummer.

“It’s been a pleasant surprise to learn what a hidden gem this brand is as it speaks to several different affluent demographics and has such a wide product offering, making it just as attractive to major accounts as well as key independents,” said Dobbels.
