Huffy Sports Company, a division of Huffy Corporation, in conjunction with United Lodge 66 and District 10 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, are pleased to announce the settlement of a new two year labor agreement. The agreement became effective midnight June 15, 2003.
Some highlights of the agreement include three percent (3%) annual wage increases, improved retirement benefits, expanded healthcare network, and significant language enhancing the parties relationship.
The bargaining teams expressed mutual appreciation for each other’s sincere effort to listen, assess, and solve their mutual issues and concerns. Randy Schickert, President and General Manager of Huffy Sports, said, “I am extremely excited about continuing and enhancing the positive relationship with our employees and their Union without interruption. We look forward to partnering together to continue to meet our customers requirements.”
